April 2024 in Israeli tech funding: Over $1 billion in 20 deals

After hitting a five-year April low with $377 million raised last year, Israeli startups crossed $1 billion in funding last month, which hasn't happened in a single month since August 2022

Over $1.01 billion were raised by Israeli startups across 20 deals during April, the first month since August 2022 in which local startups netted over $1 billion in investments. This is almost three times the $377 million raised by Israeli startups in April of last year.
The excellent April came on the back of a strong March, with Israeli startups raising a total of more than $1.8 billion over the last two months. The main reason for the increase is that for a second straight month there were four mega-rounds ($100 million or more) announced.
